Remember to take your lifestyle into consideration before you make a decision. Wood and marble are high quality but also high maintenance materials that can take a lot of time and effort to maintain. My kitchen is very small with old cabinets and fixtures. I would like to completely remodel it with new cabinets, countertops, sink, shelves, or whatever else will be useful to make the small space efficient and usable. This would also include new appliances, however the floor will remain in tact.
